Science behind MOTEN sensors
Mechanomyography, a technology derived from seismology, is the physical principle behind the data measured by MOTEN sensors.
Mechanomyography "listens" to the vibrations produced by the muscles in contraction
Our sensors use the principle of mechanomyography (MMG). They capture the vibrations produced by the muscles during their contraction.
-
All-terrain use
The sensors are placed on the muscles in a few seconds and measure the muscular effort of operators at work. Small and light, they can be deployed in any sector of activity.
-
Scientific quality data
Originating from seismic exploration, MOTEN technology is patented and the efficiency of MOTEN sensors is scientifically proven.

The data collected provides valuable information about the muscle
MOTEN transforms biomechanical data collected in the field into impactful indicators related to employee health and the company's operational performance.
-
Muscle is our key data
The measurement of muscular activity is our particularity, it is the first source of information that we use and make available to the greatest number.
-
We enrich our database with other parameters
We enrich the analyses by integrating movement data related to gestures and postures, but also cardiac activity. The analysis of physical activity has no secrets for us!
Future fields of application
At MOTEN, we put our technology at the service of all areas in which muscular activity is involved.
Medical and rehabilitation
To detect muscular pathologies and to accompany the health professionals during the phases of re-education and rehabilitation of the muscles.
Sport
Measuring the performance of athletes during training, creating adapted programs, injury prevention.
Human-computer interaction
Control a computer, a game controller or an active exoskeleton thanks to muscular contraction, making the machines accessible to people with special needs.
